 The
most memorable parts of our tour in no specific order were
meeting and spending time with yourself, Alex and Michael
along with Jeff, Terry and Ingrid. Riding the Transformer (a
brand new BMW R1200GS LC)!! Seeing and learning about parts
of the World we have never seen or known about before.
Riding some incredible roads, learning about Dracula. The
Beers!! The weather. Did I mention Transformer?
The Tour was pretty bloody good! An incredible experience
which went above and beyond our expectations."

service. The trip was 2750 km. that started in north of
Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Slovenia. We

The off road
adventure was very good, just one rainy afternoon on
bike. We had a good guide Valentin and good stay at
pension Broos. The nature in the mountains was really
amazing with a lot of nice off road and animals walking
around on lot of places.

It was a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ ride, with fabulous
scenery, mountains and sea,twisties and sweepers; a
meticulously researched and tightly choreographed journey
through the back roads and byways of the Balkans. If I had
to choose highlights, they would be (1) The
Dalmatian/Adriatic Coast with the three crown jewels of
Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik (2) Kotor Fjord in Montenegro
(3) the Danube Gorge (4) the Transalpina and
Transfagarasan Highways and (5) rural Romania, especially
Transylvania and the Southern Carpathians.

I really enjoyed the tour and there were
some great roads especially the Transalpina Road and the
Transfagarasan highway. The flight was ok (business class
the only way to travel I've decided). You all made the
tour very enjoyable. Until next time.

We did enjoy our visit, in fact we had a
blast, one of the most exciting experiences I've
ever had on a motorcycle. It's hard to give a
most memorable moment. Sighisoara was pretty awesome, and
the day meeting the wood carver and other local people was
also fantastic. The Trans Fagarasan HWY was special. Sibiu
was a very pretty spot, it would have been nice to spend
more time there. Everyone was so nice, we couldn't have
been treated any better.

A wonderful country,
yes!! I will miss its unique character, and I make
the promise to my self to return at some later date. It
has been a wonderful and informative tour and I thank

Anyone thinking of going on this trip (Ride under
Dracula’s Wings in Transylvania ) I can tell you now, you
will have an excellent holiday. Two of us from the
Lincolnshire went last June. It must be said that the
Romanian people we met and in particular the organizers
could not have done more to make us welcome.
